EUPATI UK Mini Training Course

Learn more about medicines research and development by attending a EUPATI workshop

If you are interested in how medicines are developed and how you can help to shape future medicines research, then this training opportunity might be for you.

EUPATI UK (European Patients’ Academy) is hosting three separate workshops in London, Glasgow and Leeds to introduce and explore the phases of clinical research and the role that patients and patient advocates can play as they contribute to medicines research and development.

Workshop participants will:

  • Understand there are different phases of clinical development;
  • Have been given real life examples of how they can be involved in the medicine development process;
  • Know how they can contribute meaningfully and make a difference.

This course is designed to demonstrate practical and useful examples of meaningful contributions that can be made by patients and their advocates.

Workshop dates are:

12 October 2018 (GlaxoSmithKline, Brentford, West London)
23 November 2018 (University of Leeds, Leeds)
30 November 2018 (The ALLIANCE, Glasgow)

Each workshop will run from 10am – 3.30pm and will include refreshments.

There is no charge for attendance.

Attendees may find it useful to bring a charged laptop or tablet and note taking materials.
